Hi

Need to unlock transfer balance from Bugsy. I'm a small stakes player (.25/.50)... so far, NL HE is not getting it done. lol. I think it'll take me way more than the year allotted to get the points I need.

Can anyone recommend a game (or strategy?) to help me unlock faster?

I believe limit has faster FPP's

I need a girlfriend who loves me for my money... and is pretty bad with math.

play as many tables of PLO as you possibly can.

or if you cna multi-table well. fire up the SNGs. there are plenty of people who reach supernova by playing SNGs. (obv a little higher than your BR)

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

Hi

Limit has faster FPPs meaning... people stay in and build bigger pots?

PLO = Pot Limit Omaha... hi lo? Hmm... I can see where those pots can get big. But I always seem to lose my shirt there... I get the nuts on the turn and get rivered by two people and end up with nothing out of the pot. haha.

Unfortunately, I am not a multi table player. Dunno how you guys play 20 tables and still keep track of what is going on at each one! SNG would be even harder! When it gets down to the end, its your action 25 - 50% of the time!

Man, this is gonna be hard work.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I have to increase my limits. .25/.50 games dont generate many hands that qualify for points. But I see at 1/2, I could get a point for most hands. Thats a pretty steep jump tho.

NO! don't go play above your limit, that little bit of bonus is not worth your entire BR!

I suggest limit because there are less decisions to be made, there's no keeping track of 6 hands like in omaha, there's no deciding what your betsize is going to be like in no limit, it's easier to play on 4 or 6 tables (start with 4).

oh and I rarely play multi table, 4 tables is my max, only those sick grinders can play more.

Sng play is very ABC, esp. turbo SNGs. If you take some time to learn the correct strategy and read up on ICM it will be the easiest way to clear the balance. Honestly in turbo SNGs you dont have to pay attention to anything but your stack, the blinds, and the other stacks in play. You can do that in about half a second and then make your decision.

i am not trying to pressure you into this but BR wise multi-tabling SNGs is far more safe than moving up to a limit you aren't used to playing.

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

Try the micro double or nothing SnG. You have to grind and it takes awhile but you can do it. Not as many decisions as half the field wins. Just make sure you're a grinder.

I will recommend you turbo 6-handed SnG's or Double or nothing SnG, It's quite simple to learn those types.
