How great would it be...

Ivey may get another bracelet early in the WSOP on the Deuce to seven... and catch up a bit on Phil H. He is not at 11 yet but how entertaining would it be to have those two players "racing" for the most bracelet? The Ego of Phil H would make it very entertaining I m sure...

A couple of good years for Ivey and the impossibility of PH to win another bracelet could be something to follow.

When I say that Phil Cannot win another bracelet it is only because he is really great at Hold em mainly and the problem of this game is that he always have a lots of people just trying to bust him so imo he just can t win anymore ( despite the fact that he is probably the best hold em player today ).

Umm, I think Phil Hellmuth made a HORSE final table last year.

in a 1500$ event iirc, PH is basically a fishhunter, in stronger events he is mediocre at best.

ummm, i think hellmuth isn't as good at hold'em as everyone thinks he is. he plays a style that is very good against the fishies but nowadays sit him in with a group of pros and he has to be negative ev.

however, i feel like ivey has the ability to beat just about anyone.

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

I would think just the opposite. He s like the choice number one of player you would like to bust if you are an amateur at the wsop so you can be the one upsetting PH on ESPN and crap like that. Problem is that there are some many players like that that he can t win. About the fish hunter comment I would agree completely as far as cash game. At this level it is not fish anymore but whale. It seems to me that PH is doing pretty good against pros in the tournaments. Might be wrong.

why do you think he performs much worse in the WPT than in the WSOP? because there isn't a big influx of donkeys that won their ticket in online sattelites.

Number 7 for Ivey, at the same time, PH busted in the NLHE HU calling a pf raise all in with AK, his opponent had 78s and hits it
