Hi.
So I got this $25 on my party acc. Can I just cash it out now without any party points and forget about that additional $25 bonus?

Maybe someone on this thread can finally offer some constructive assistance from Pokernews.com. I signed up for this promotion over 6 weeks ago & have received 3 different excuses from Pokernews support as to why they cannot transfer my funds. After I dispelled the last excuse (that Australia was an excluded country, which PartyPoker clarified... within 12 hours) I have not recieved any sort of communication for the last 3 weeks. I have contacted freerolls@pokernews.com as well as free50@pokernews.com as well as info@pokernews.com as well as via the contact portion of the website. I cannot see anything in the terms & conditions that would prohibit me from being eligible for this promotion

Suffice to say that after 6 weeks & a distinct lack of customer service from this website I am quite anxious to have the matter sorted out.

This post may seem a little heavy handed, I have just become very frustrated with the entire situation. This is not a huge amount of money, it is more the principle of being given what I am entitled to (or having someone actually take the time to explain why I am not eligible)

Can somebody help?????

So I see that the admins are quick to get on here & have a go at someone who is obviously upset at the way this promotion has been handled (martinstids) yet when they are asked to provide some clarity on why the promotion is working for some people the silence is deafening!!!! No wonder martinstids got that upset - if he's been waiting as long as I have for ANY sort of legitimate response I don't blame him for being that blunt.

Would anyone from Pokernews.com like to actually attempt to address the concerns that some people are obviously having with this promotion??

If you have read any of the other posts questioning freerolls, passwords, or promotions, you already know that the moderators here have NOTHING to do with any of these. We are not in offices. We are not in the same countries. We are not on the same side of the planet as the people that ARE in charge of freerolls, passwords, and promotions. I realize that we sound like a broken record when we continually say to contact freerolls@pokernews.com. However, that is the ONLY contact information that the moderators have either.

Personally, I hate these promotions. Nothing ever runs smoothly and Horoeschio and myself are left trying to answer questions that we have no answers to.

seriously, these promotions gave the guy a heart attack. (too soon?)

Nah. I kept my sense of humor the whole time during the heart attack. When they were shaving down below, I asked them what look they were going for.

lol

i once hit on a nurse at the hospital as she was cutting my clothes off me following a car accident. It went like this.

"Kinky, I've never been with someone aggressive enough to cut my clothes right off me."

Her response, "You still haven't."

I said, "Oh come on, how about you just lift my phone number from the medical records and give me a call sometime."

"We'll see." As she was running the scissors up the thigh of my jeans.

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

This whole PartyPoker free money thing needs exposing for what it is. When someone on here says that it is nothing to do with the moderators, then why did they delete my original post and block my username and IP address... futile though that was.

I only posted, in the first place, to see if I could generate some action but no, block my IP address as many time as you like. It will make no diffrence.

Here was my original post:

Too Good To Be True? It Was For Me - POKERNEWS.COM-PARTY POKER GET $50 FREE PROMOTION

On Thursday 21 Jan 2010 I responded to http://partypoker.pokernews.com/uk/ 'Get $50 Free'
I precisely followed all instructions, including taking a photo holding ID and uploding.

On Friday I received this email
----------------------------------
Thank you for your interest in our PartyPoker Free $50 Promo. Unfortunately we could not transfer the money, because we have rejected you from the eligibility list. The reason of rejection is Already real money player

Unfortunately we cannot transfer the money to real money players as it is against our terms and conditions.

The decision is final and cannot be changed. PartyPoker support is not aware about our promo conditions therefore contacting them will not grant you the bonus.

Do not worry if you could not participate in this promo. Please read about other Pokernews promos in Online Poker rooms list and maybe you will find some promotions interesting to you.

Thank you for your time and good luck at the tables.

Promo support team
Email: free50@pokernews.com
-------------------------------
The alarm bells started ringing. Why include this, how often does this happen, I wondered?
'The decision is final and cannot be changed. PartyPoker support is not aware about our promo conditions therefore contacting them will not grant you the bonus.'

After several emails to pokernews.com, none of which were answered, I contacted Party Poker and was told: Please continue the conversation with them, since we can't activate
the bonus in question on our end.

That's a non starter because you can't have a conversation if one party does not reply.

Finally I asked Party Poker to confirm, to me, that I had no account with them prior to signing up via the pokernews UK50Free link.
They replied:

----------------------------
Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

I'd like to inform you that you have registered on our site on 2 1-JAN-2010 at 17:11 ET. Our records show that you do not have a previous account on our site or platforms.

Should you have further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are here 24/7 to assist you.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

I sent this information to pokernews.com but again was ignored.

I am now playing on Party Poker with my PokerNews UK50FREE promotion showing but not getting the promotion.
The whole thing stinks and has also soured my feelings towards Party Poker which I had never used before. I don't like the software anyway.
