I'm a little confused about the rules for Freeroll Eligibility. I noticed under the freeroll it says you qualify by signing up through this site, but you can also play if you already have Carbon?

Most of the freerolls require that you signed up for the site through the link on PokerNews. This is unfortunate for the players that already downloaded before joining. I understand any frustration you may have. I'm in the same boat.

YES IT IS UNFORTUNATE FOR ANY SEASONED POKER PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. THIS SITE IS OBVIOUSLY FOR NEWBIES THAT ARE NOT YET SIGNED UP ANYWHERE.

There's a banner in the top left corner of every site .. it says "PokerNews: The #1 Source for Poker News, Reviews & Bonuses". That's pretty much what it is.
I don't see anything about a "POKER LEAGUE".

PokerNews freerolls are made for our LOYAL players and every new loyal player, who decides to use our site promotion/bonus code. As a reward he gets plenty of PN special freerolls, WSOP/PokerNews Cup qualifiers and other special deals.
We want to be loyal to players, who pick us as their affiliate. Its sad that before signing up to some poker room, some of you didn't know about pokernews.

the saddest thing about this site is the LACK of support from the freeroll dept they hardly return emails i doubt they would get a job in an indian call centre

Hello..I opened tody account on carbon poker trough yours link but I did not find place to enter bonus code..Is that mean that I am automatic registered like pokernews referal??
08-26-2009 08:26
I think you should, you can send a mail to Carbon to confirm but you should be ok.
08-26-2009 09:06
Like akamma said, it should but email them NOW to make sure. Please don't wait until 15 minutes before a freeroll to try and sort it out.

just started playing again over at ub (scandal etc) and even though i tried to use your system to link it said I have a existing account so no deal. Its sad really, i like your tourney coverage and read the site daily, guess older players (ones that have been around a while) are penalized. I mean I had a account on ub before this site existed!

So I just signed up.. and alredy have a PS account, am I not entitled for freerolls?
11-27-2009 22:23
You would not be eligible for the freerolls unless you created the account through the links on PokerNews. Sorry. I'm in the same boat.

Hey guys, ?.....
Since I haven't been around in a while, how about the buy-in games you guys organize? Obviously since I'm also in the same boat, we could all join in.
I can not see anything written about that.
