World Poker Showdown and the Canadian Poker Tour have joined forces to create what is being dubbed the "Canadian Invasion"

After some of the worlds best just hashed it out in the 5k Heads Up at the Canadian Poker Open, there should be some good fun rivalry at this event at the Hard Rock Hoteland Casino in Vegas. There is a player room rate of $99 a night and discounted WestJet seats are available. I will post the promo code later.

Also expecting a press release in the next few days.

Looks like POY points will be awardered for some leader races.

I have to ask my usual question. Why so much NLHE?

My question: Where is my $5 buy in event? LOL

They did mix in some Omaha, which you see more and more players competing in. What games do you want to see in future events? A small buy in HORSE to get players experimenting live would be cool IMO

Horoeschio is in Switzerland. He wouldn't be in Vegas for the tournament no matter what you put in.
