I played a lot of 5$ HU on stars, however, after a series of unfortunate events I decided to cut short on this format for a while and I played a ( meaning one ) 4 players turbo HU 10$ and I was surprised to see how the three other guys were playing.

Have you experience on both level? What do you think about the players?

Basically I find the 5$ HU kind of agressive but with a lot of mistakes in the plays while I found the 10$ turbo of a very poor level ( this is limited to the three other players in the sng I played, obviously ). They were folding too much to agression while being able to call all the way to the river with very weak holding, were making overbets for their bluff, made small bets on heavy drawing board. Very strange.

Before I go further in this level, if you have any thought to share, it will be welcome.

this is about 10x my level! LOL. I played a couple of the $2.20 HU on stars and loved them. I won like 4 of 5 on Saturday night. I would like to hear your experience with them if you move forward.

I play the 2$ HU on stars once in a while. Most of the opponent will be calling anything so you can drive them t value town. One specific thing at this level is that your opponent won t be patient at all and will try to end it quick so if you see them pushing all their chips it is usually not a bluff, even if they will try silly bluff for a less amount of chips.

Be patient, take your spot, this should be fitting to your style I think.

akamma,

i have played both levels that you are talking about. i honestly think there isn't much difference in the skill level between them. You will see more passive players at $10 because the money starts to be meaningful to some. Also, by this point most people know that shoving mediocre hands over and over again is a losing strategy.
