I m a bit disapointed to see that the ESPN coverage of the WSOP is actually a coverage of the WSOP main event only ( except the 40k and ante up for Africa ). I really enjoyed watching the final table of other events last year.
In the other hand we have probably a better result as far as the coverage of the big one and I understand that a final table of an event like the 2.5k 2-7 single draw or lhe isn t made for good tv ( still, there was Phil ivey on the 2-7... ).
In a perfect world I d like to see more events or at list a summary of the events even if it is not prime time.
What do you think?
Yhe ultimate goal of WSOP ( through ESPN coverage ) is of course to promote the WSOP in order to get as many new people to register in the coming years more than pleasing the casual viewer who ll never dump 10k in the main event like me. Well, never say never...
