Few weeks ago I changed my selesction of game from various hold'em format by playing mainly 8-games cash .2/.4 Horse cash .1/.2 and one table sng Hold'em double or ntg ( 1 to 5$ ) and 2-7 single draw ( 1-3$ ).
Since the change I went on a 100$ winning streak over few weeks followed by a 50$ loosing streak in a week ( I don t play that much... ).
I don t feel that there was a big difference in my game though.
1) Would you consider this type of streak "normal" or at least "happening once in a while" or do you think I should seriously look in why all those up and down.
It clearly seems to me that during the loosing streak I couldn't hit much while my opponent(s) were catching the perfect last street card but this can be just that I felt that way because I was loosing.
Comment, personal experience and/or remedies are welcome.
2) Can a software tracking my plays could help understand what happened here? I would guess so.

VARIANCE. That simple. If you think you have some leaks, pokertracker can help you look at past sessions of holdem and omaha or you can simply examine your hand histories as objectively as possible, have someone else examine it, or have somebody rail you to see if they can spot any leaks.
We all have the "Can't Lose/Can't Win" times. Playing as spotty as you do, it's hard to tell without a lot more information like the histories.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

what davega said. i would also like to recommend a book called the poker mindset. it will teach you the correct way to think about variance and "the long run" in poker.
