What makes the best loyalty scheme?

Hi guys,

Recently at InterPoker we've been having a lot of discussions around the most effective and rewarding loyalty schemes - looking how we can build upon our own new VIP Lounge. We have made a short list of what we think is most important, and so far it includes...

1. Recognizing loyalty with rewards
2. Recognizing loyalty with exclusive freeroll and member tournaments
3. Providing a clear structure to reward players from low-roller right through to high rollers (not just rewarding the high-rollers!)

However, because there is only so much that we can learn from customer questionnaires, we are really looking to start off a little discussion about what you guys - the players - think about loyalty schemes and what attracts you to them?

Cheers,

Adam (on behalf of InterPoker)

I could care less about points...give me rakeback! I have only two things I look at when I decide on a room...how much action there is and how much rakeback I can get!

If you are looking specifically at loyalty, I like to be able to accumulate my points and then have a shot at an exclusive tournie with the buyin being paid by points! I don't mind accumulating for a year or more to get to these points, but having a chance be in a 1 tables SNG where top two win $1,000 in WSOP play with like 10,000 points or something would be what I want!

There is never a wrong mistake as long as you learn the first time! {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Thanks a lot,

Its interesting to know that you'd be willing to stockpile your points for a year to play at a highrolling single table. It would certainly be interesting to know how many other people would go for this?
I often see people talk about trading their points in for a new TV or a set of Golf clubs etc - but I think your idea would be a lot more exciting.

I've fed this back so thanks again,

yup, generic stuff is not important, give me freerolls to cool stuff (PCA, WSOP, EPT, etc). I'll buy poker books myself.

I need a girlfriend who loves me for my money... and is pretty bad with math.
