"Ante Up" tourney...How to play

Anybody ever play one? How do you play? Lag? Tag? somewhere in between?
I played my 1st recently. I did'nt cash. finished 141 of 560 something. I started playing Tag then loosened up. Went down with Q9 suited.
Just trying to get some ideas on this style tourney.

the obvious change is that pots will be bigger preflop. i think the most important things to consider are these...

1. Stealing is absolutely vital early, middle, and late. You need to find the opponents willing to fold their blinds and take pots from those players.

2. Most people will understand stealing is absolutely vital. Find those opponents stealing more than their fair share and begin to 3-bet them.

3. Don't get yourself committed too easily. Balancing this point and the last one will be key to your game. Because the preflop pots are larger it will be easy to get yourself in situations where you are committed with the worst hand. Be careful but aggressive.

4. Also consider this thought...what do your cards matter if you take down most of your pots preflop? if you find the guy in point 2 and you know he can't have a hand dont be afraid to 3-bet with 72 because if he folds 85% of the time then the cards dont matter.

Also, I hate M but its the only way to judge your actually chip stack in these things.
