I am just starting to play poker. Does anyone know where a good beginner room is while I am getting a feel for the game and learning all of the rules?

I can tell you that stars have the most games and starts at the lowest limit possible, other than that I don t have much infos. Stars is known to be a bit tougher field but that s also hoe you learn the game.

I will have to check out that site and see how I like it. Are you talking about pokerstar or is stars something completely different?

iPoker, everest, UB, basically anywhere is an easier field than PS and FT.

Betfair is pretty good really weak as you get people who have come across from betting on sports

Id go with everest personallly they have some weaker players than PStars or Party poker

you don't say whether you will be playing cash or tournaments. pokerstars is generally a good place for a beginner because it offers very low stakes and doesn't charge too much rake at the micros, unlike full tilt. when you are ready to get serious, then its time to shop around for a rakeback/loyalty deal.
