only knowledge of player is he sat directly on my left with a full stack on a 4 handed table. he three bet me from the blinds once and then check/folded the flop. ( i per usual have been pretty active at the table. although my range in PLO is much tighter than NLHE.)

should i be calling this flop bet? any kind of idea what he leads with here?

on this turn should i be looking to keep the pot small because i dont hold the nuts? also, calling here makes for an odd size pot for his stack.

what should be my plan on the river?

I probably check raise the flop and get it in on the turn .. not really into playing PLO the nitty way.

Drawing for non-nut hands sucks in case you don't have anything to go with the draw. Here you have a solid overpair, 2nd nut flush draw and even some backdoor draws .. I think it's fine to get it in.

but then again I don't understand that game, as Tony and Dave will testify.

I need a girlfriend who loves me for my money... and is pretty bad with math.

THe way you played the flop I would check the turn and bet the river.

ROFL, "pretty active..." OMG I thought you were a tight player, and also "my range in PLO is much tighter than NLHE", if you have a game where you are looser than NLHE, let me know, I want to play with you Other than that I still suck a PLO so...

I checkraise the flop and get it in on turn. But I would fold preflop since his stack doesn't give you the right implied odds.
