Hi,
I was going over some poker room sites, and all of them offer bonuses, up to 100$, up to 200$, etc. Now, I looked at the little details, and I found out that its a bit more complicated then that. That in order to get a 5$ bonus, you actually have to bet about 260$ (its a bit different in different rooms). from your experience, does it sound right? do you think my calculation is correct?
I'll explain how I calculated it -
for example, titan poker - they have a table there of how much points you get per rake taken. so for 0.04$ rake taken you get 0.3 points, which mean that in order to get 0.3 points the pot needs to have 0.8$ (5% rake, right?), and if 6 people play a table, that means 0.13$ per player for a point. now, in order to get 5$ you need to get 600 points, so that means that you need to play on 260$ to get a 5$ bonus.
My question is: Does my calculation match your experience? does it make sense? and second, if not, if you can explain to me how it works and what I did wrong, I'll be grateful.
Cheers.

I'm not sure about your calculation but yes, it is true that different bonuses have different clearing rates and it is best to read the small print so you know how good of a bonus you are getting.
