Each year, the World Poker Tour and Commerce Casino in Los Angeles roll out the red carpet for the most glamorous stop on the poker circuit—the WPT® Celebrity Invitational.
The WPT Celebrity Invitational is a three day event featuring Hollywood's hottest celebrities and poker's top pros. The tournament is held in February 2011 with the exact dates still TBD. The event is not open to the public, so your best chance to get in is right here.
The exclusive, invitation-only event welcomes Hollywood celebrities and world-class poker professionals who go head-to-head in a freeroll Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament for charity, $200,000* in cash prizes, and eternal bragging rights. With many repeat celebrity attendees, this event has grown to be a must-attend. At the final table in March of 2010 LeRon "Dream187" Washington, a 34-year-old West Virginia boxer and part-time poker player walked away with $75,000 in cash and a seat in the $25,000 WPT World Championship coming up this April.
