Does anyone know how the dealing is operated on Pokerstars?
I mean, is it done like at live poker or does the software "shuffles" the cards at the start ánd after the flop ánd after the turn...
I'm just curious...

Hi the shuffle stops when the card is picked. What i mean by that is that the card is not known by the software until it is picked so i suppose what this means is that the shuffle is continuous throughout the hand.

Do you mean that between the dealing of the cards and turning the flop there is still shuffling going on? And also between the flop and the turn?

I think that's what Pokerstars claims to be the case. However, I believe this to be closer to the truth:

whahahahaha Brilliant!
But why should the shuffling keeps going on between the deal and the flop etc?
This makes it easy to cheat (for PS) and if you do that on and on shuffling at live poker you get killed...

Well, Pokerstars has no reason to cheat.
It's very possible that the "random" number generators of online poker rooms in general tend to be a bit on the aggressive side when it comes to bad beats, setups, etc. but that shouldn't really matter.
In the end the conditions are the same for everyone.

Even though you gave a good answer, I liked the 1st one better, H.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

I believe you when you cheat. Why should they kill the goose that lays the golden eggs?
But I find it strange that the way of dealing differs from the dealing in live poker (one time dealing for the whole hand).
