It is hard to imagine that the NBC National Heads-Up Championship, which began as replacement programming for the National Hockey League lockout of 2005, has evolved into one of the most anticipated events of the year. I have always been a big fan of the Devilfish and cannot believe he has never played this event. Sure, his results aren't anything special in the last few years, but entertainment-wise they don't get much better.

What about the new kid on the block - Viktor Blom - Isildur1? Hey, what about expanding to 128 players, most of the 10K entry tournaments have way more than 128 to start with?

Tony G may have a big ego, but he's absolutely right. He's got top entertainment value in poker, and he rightfully deserves to be there ahead of a few others. I mean, c'mon, ...who wouldn't want to see Tony G and Phil Hellmuth play for the title? I thought so.
