Have you recently had the game you enjoy playing from the privacy of your own home with your own money taken from you? Are we going to just lie down and take this or unite as a poker community and fight for what we believe in? Now is the time to Fight4Poker…

April 15, 2011 will forever be known as black Friday in the poker community. The three largest sites available for US players were forced out of the market and Americans were left wondering what to do now. It was in the wake of these events that the idea of Fight4Poker was born.

Fight4Poker is pleased to announce our official launch. The goal of the website is to help raise awareness of the current state of online poker, and to unite players toward fully legalized online poker. We have released several innovative designs aimed at spreading awareness of the current state of online poker to both poker players and yet-to-be poker players. We need to change the negative social stigma attached with online poker. The best way to do this is to prominently display your beliefs wherever you go, while starting up conversations and informing the general public that we are not criminals, rather regular people who simply enjoy playing a game.

Are you in the fight?

I do not have a card room within 300 miles of my home. Online poker meant no longer having to wait for a specific time or place to have to go to play the game we enjoy. Poker players were free play at any time day or night, from the privacy of our own homes, with our own money, not harming anyone.

Within a 10 mile radius of my home there is a very nice horse track where I can wager on local races or races going on all around the country. In addition to this there are 3 bingo halls (2 very new) where I can gamble at various hours day and night. While driving by one of the 30+ gas stations in this small area I can purchase lottery tickets and scratch offs at any time day or night. Yet I am not able to play a skill-based game in the privacy of my own home versus other willing competitors, while not harming anyone. If this doesn’t make any sense to you either please help us fight for poker players rights.
