Day 1b of the World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris took place on Tuesday at the Aviation Club de France. Another 172 players joined the event to bring the field to 312 entrants. At the end of the day, 97 players were left and Guillaume Darcourt was leading the charge with 198,500 in chips.

There have been a LOT of quads tossing players to the rail or just pushing them back. On my table a short stack reraised all in with 6h 7h finding out that his opponent has AA ... lol ... but when the board came out 7 7 A x 7 ... the guy w aces was wondering what the hell hit him. Day 3 has 61 players & as the PokerNews article mentions, 36 are paid w a first place of 500,000 Euros. When we were bagging chips the chip leader had difficulty bagging his 328,000 plus.
