DOJ on Full Tilt Poker

After the Alderney Gaming Control Commission (AGCC) announced the revocation of Full Tilt Poker's license, the site released a statement to PokerStrategy. In the statement, FTP claims an “interested investor testified before the Commission” during the September 19, 2011 hearing; however, as a result of revoking the license, the AGCC’s decision “makes it more difficult to execute the sale of the company and hence repay its players.”

The statement concluded: “Notwithstanding the potential damage done by the Commission and its disregard for our players, Full Tilt Poker remains committed to...

Leave it to FTP to blame someone else, again. "It's Not Our Fault!!! - Blame the AGCC..........." Those big egos must be having a tough time with this. Hoawrd and Chris can't possibly be to blame.

what else did you expect from full tilt. they have shown us all very plainly that they are a bunch of liars and thieves. they never did have any intention of paying us what we are owed. it was way more important to them to steal whatever wasn't tied down and runa s fast as they could.i for one hope the whole bunch goes to prison for a very very long time.

Wow, it looks like Pocket Kings funneled dividends to owners to give the impression that all was well, when in fact the mismanagement of the FTP site was Epic.

At least the DOJ has seen the way the wind was blowing politically and are now committed to putting the player's interests first, as victims. Ironically international players will be the ones left standing in the cold with nothing.

The more comes out, the more it appears that the operational management is to blame for the situation, though the owners remain in the spotlight for not exercising better oversight on management. I am amazed.

I love how the international players are the ones who are the most financial hurt from this situation whereas the American players are the ones who weren't supposed to really play in the first place. Rakefree poker is the only poker rooms worth playing IMHO. Save a ton of money and a decent amount of fish to beat.

Pokerstars must be quietly chuckling. Since UIEGA they have seen number one site at the time PartyPoker pull out of the US and Fulltilt blown out of the water. They could easily afford to pay a DOJ fine and still be multi billionaires. - At least they manage their company with professionalism and respect for their players and are not managed by degenerate poker players like Fulltilt.

Quietly chuckling? Pokerstars are probably opening up champagne bottles! lol. Either way I've heard Pokerstars had trouble with the law too and after Black Friday I don't seem to trust them much either. I also hate paying rake so I guess that's another reason I don't play there anymore

@pokerjoek I still don't think it was rigged. I made really good money all the way up to Black Friday. Never had troubled withdrawing, never had trouble with the site mechanics. You sound like someone that doesn't know how to play poker to win and just want to blame something. Typical terrible player.
