On Sept. 28, Full Tilt Poker CEO Raymond Bitar, filed a claim against the United States Department of Justice's forfeiture allegations. Bitar's claim is in accordance with Rule G of the Supplemental Rules for Admiralty and Maritime Claims, which is part of the Federal Rules for Civil Procedure.

Hmmm, looks like Mr. Bitar is pursuing his own strategy instead of letting Groupe Tapis finesse the entire civil claim. It is risky because as the DOJ digs, they may decide to "raise" the pot with more specific charges, since very clearly (given the evidence so far shown) money was diverted in FTP.

He seems very fast to get his own funds back but not those of the players -

Actually remeber the government SEIZED hundreds of millions of dollars from Full Tilt--enough to pay back the players. The government should release those funds to the players but interestingly enough they are starting more smear campaigns against FT in an attempt to sabotage any attempts for the company to recover. I am angry at the US government as they point fingers at FT while they hold more than enough money to pay the players. Why wont the government release THOSE funds to the US players??
