All for the ISPT as a concept but why is the traier [sic] in Russian? Are the organizers Russian but working with Group Tapie?
This is a great subject for some serious investigative journalism for PokerNews because if this is some sort of Russian shell game, I want to know who is guaranteeing the $30 million and it should be in the hands of a recognized international accounting firm like KPMG.
A $30 million prize fund and 30,000 poker players as a target implies an entry fee of $1,000 + fee ... I am game for that sort of event and online qualifiers would be easy to arrange. World record for a poker tournament and the media will be having kittens if they get close to 30,000 players. Since the London poker organizers dropped the ball losing the WSOPE to Cannes for eight years ... this would put it back on the map in a big way.
Think of it ... if the cash bubble is at 10% ... 3,000 players will cash.

weird thing about the ISPT.. if u recall, on the micros series, they play in a stadium like tornament, and micros was sponsored by fulltilt, and fulltilt is being bought by 'ISPT'.. really weird coincidence? or someone had some visionary plans.. or something was premeditaded.. makes me really wonder.. did they steal the money knowing someone already wanted to buy company? makes me wonder..
about the stadiums tournament.. wembley is not 100% roof covered.. and we dont know if they will setup the tables in the 'grass field', but if they do so, they are subject of weather.. and weather in london is like, wet..
i wouldnt play on this mass torunaments.. id rather play Lotto or Bingo..
