At the end of Day 3 of the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, 25 players remained. The tournament team set a very optimistic challenge on Tuesday: to reduce the playing field from 116 to 16 by the end of the day. As play crept into the early hours of the morning, a decision was made to stop the day at the end of Level 19 with 25 players remaining.

The stage is set for another demonstration by Eric "Seiborg" Seidel, the human poker machine. Max Silver is an ok player. I saw him play at the WPT Paris where he came in 28th, but he is not in the same class as the rest of the field IMHO. I cashed 25th at the WPT Paris too and frankly tables with Seidel, Tony G, Duthie, Cody, et al is above my pay grade for sure. It is like tossing a salmon into a shark pool ... the salmon had better start swimming fast.
Which is not to say that Max can do it ... I mean he gets two cards like everyone else, but the absolute level of poker pressure you start facing is actually quite amazing.
