Over the past few years, I've covered a lot of poker tournaments — 48 to be exact. I've had the amazing opportunity to travel the world, meet plenty of interesting people and experience amazing things. The questions I'm so commonly asked are, “Where's the best place you've been?” and “What's been your favorite tournament to cover?”

never attended any of those 2.. but never heard of APC as a tournament, only heard about it in the UB SCAM SCANDAL thing that happened, it was a 'fixed' tournament where russ hamilton called his friends over to do you know what...

be serious donnie, u liked the party, not the torunament itself at apc..and you dont need a tournament to have a good party.. even tho the awesome weather there helps..

At the time, the APC had plenty of online qualifiers and the majority of people that traveled to the event were good, fun-loving people. They all understood that traveling to an exotic location isn't just about the poker grind. There's much more of that mentality at PCA than there ever was in Aruba. The atmosphere was much more laid back and free that it is at PCA, which made it all more enjoyable for all.
