Only 185 players is very bad news for this prestigious tournament. Last year there were 242 players. Perhaps this location needs to be downsized to a $5,000 entry fee. I mean the WPT Paris was held in a microscopic casino and pulled in over 300 players. Might be part of the Black Friday effect creeping into poker with the numbers. I think that to bridge the numbers you have to throw in airfare in the qualifying European players. Properly promoted, Europe is good for 100 to 200 players qualifying online.
