Poker super agent Brian Balsbaugh is one of the most influential figures in the poker industry. His company, Poker Royalty, represents many of the biggest names in poker, including Phil Hellmuth, Erick Lindgren and Daniel Negreanu. Balsbaugh took a gamble by testing the industry waters in 2003 and used his marketing and networking skills to help pave the way for poker sponsorships and appearances that were unheard of before the "Chris Moneymaker" boom that saw poker explode worldwide.
"I was a lawyer and golf agent who saw a tremendous business opportunity in poker," says...
i would assume that 90% of Poker Royalty's business has come from negotiating player sponsorships up until black friday. I would therefore hazard a guess that the company will find it difficult generating business from other sources. There are specialist lawyers that companies will consult about the legal situation in the USA. Why is everyone talking about a regulated US poker market - i cant see that being a remote possibility.

The fact that Poker Royalty has opened an office in London (though Cannes is a better poker city now) means they are on the ball. They are the corporate side of the Poker Exodus that the DOJ has caused with the pursuit of a Poker Prohibition in the U.S.
First, US citizens are driven out of the US to practice their profession. Now poker-based businesses are pursuing business in other countries.
