Four times a year, Las Vegas poker action heats up with the Venetian’s wildly popular Deep Stack Extravaganza. The tournaments, introduced in 2007, have grown in size and prestige over the past three years. In fact, the Deep Stack Extravaganza has inspired knock-off tournaments throughout Sin City. A generous starting stack, a kind structure, and a luxurious atmosphere are just a few of the things that make the Venetian the go-to place for tournament poker on the Strip.
On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Deep Stack Extravaganza IV kicked off with its last series of the year. Slated to last through...
The Venetian Poker Room is definitely an amazing place to play poker. Another great article by Chad where he not only reports poker news, but brings people in poker close to the reader. I learned something I did not know, that the Deep Stack has a wide range of buy-ins.

I'd like to play there sometime...sounds and looks pretty neat. As far as online poker goes, rakefree rooms are the only ones worth playing. You don't lose money on rake and there are plenty of fish

It's only fair to add that the staff and TD are amongst the best I've known, that includes all the ones from major circuits. I had the chance to play the biggest tournament ever at Venetian this summer (1000+ ppl) and it was just as smooth as ever. Kudos to Tim Mix and all staff there.

I agree with Modjo. I've played in a lot of places and the people at the Venetian seem to be among the best. The room itself is probably at the top of the list as well. Glad to see a lot of you feel the same way about the Venetian.
