In June, the World Series of Poker announced it would be hosting a $1 million buy-in tournament called the Big One for One Drop. The event will take place during the 2012 WSOP, and $111,111 will be taken from each buy in and donated to Guy Laliberté's foundation; ONE DROP. i think poker players like selbst arguing against the big buy in events are just mad cuz its out of their bankroll, they basically dont make any points but "theres only gonna be super rich people playing", which makes totally no sense as an argument for that matter. also, i dont know why you would call it "buying a bracelet". back in the day, all wsop fields were nearly as small, the first 5 wsop events doyle brunson won definatly had an average field of under 50 player, probably even under 30! and though ofcourse i think that a chance for a wsop bracelet should be available for not only the richest and most successful, i, and i think most poker fans, like to see top professionals winning a bracelet. its just gonna be one of the most exciting events ever in poker and it supports a good cause. seriously, what more can you ask for?!
