Day 2 of the World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic saw 48 players take advantage of the late registration period, creating a total field of 413 at the $10,000 buy-in event at Bellagio. The number didn't quite reach last year's field of 438, but a prize pool of more than $4 million will be dispersed to the top 100 finishers.

Nice report on a great tournament. With better advertising and a longer satellite period on PartyPoker, the tournament would have made better attendance numbers from online qualifiers.
