It has been one heck of a year for online poker. Black Friday rocked the poker world and sent players, especially those in the United States, freaking out about the loss of their livelihood. No online poker company had a more drama-filled year than Fill Tilt Poker (FTP) did.

FullTiitPoker has indeed been the news-story of the year ... even a soap opera of epic proportions. Black Friday was the trigger to unmask mismanagement of such astounding levels that it will take a rescuer with a hundred million to keep the cash-cow that is FullTilt alive and kicking. It takes a special kind of mismanagement to deep-six such a profitable business and unfortunately Black Friday caused it all to come to light. 2012 should also prove to be a FullTiltPoker banner year as it re-emerges as a poker force with professional management. Big story and totally deserving of the #2 spot.
