Without a doubt, the top story of 2011 was Black Friday. Now, as the new year begins, the ramifications of that story continue to permeate the poker industry. There have been significant developments over the course of the past eight months, but perhaps none more meaningful than Groupe Bernard Tapie’s (GBT) interest in acquiring Full Tilt Poker. That time-consuming acquisition is still unfinished but seemingly certain, priming it to be one of the biggest stories of 2012.
As the poker world waits for the next development to break, PokerNews reached out to the man representing GBT’s interest...
The fact that SOMEONE from FullTiltPoker is actually communicating with the players is great. Compare this from the "Silence from the mutes" of previous management, or lack thereof. The process is ongoing and the DOJ seems onboard before the fact they are driving U.S. citizens out of the USA to practice a legal profession becomes a political problem for the DOJ. Looking forward to FullTiltPoker but without the management clown show.

@pokerbandit Seriously?? Don't change anything? I can think of a host of things to change. Honestly, once online poker is regulated in the US you will have a plethora of sites to choose from, probably with better promotions and decent software. As far as the article, some interesting stuff but we mostly just got lawyered. I agree with flintsworld though, it sure beats silence.
