Not declaring excess money at the border is clearly a mistake of youth. It takes age to understand that paying your taxes goes to a good cause: "It keeps you out of jail". I declared the cash I won in the WPT Paris because it was the right thing to do. Expensive lesson & they should consider themselves lucky the judge did not throw the book at them. Happy to see the border enforcement is firm but knows the difference between smuggling & a stupid decision by kids.
