Tony, congrats on being picked to play in the WPT Bad Boys of Poker II. I was reading on your website that you have ordered a Kimono Samauri robe which you are thinking about wearing for the Bad Boys II. Well I have to say; at least thats a better image to have, than you in a Sumo thong

Best of luck in the game. Do you know who the others at the table are?

I am very happy to get another chance to play on WPT. I was in Japan when I received the news and told my Japanese partners that I will wear the Kimono to promote Pokernews in Japan.
They love poker there and I really respect the Japanese culture so I am wearing the Kiomono out of respect for Japanese people.
Also I plan to be really bad this time, hope I do not get any red cards.

Yes it is a great country and wonderful people. I was wondering though. With Japans strict laws against certain gambling, how do you see live Poker developing there. Do you think you will have to bet and win pencils and then cash them in for money just like in their number one gambling addiction.
"Pachinko"

I am amazed how well you know Japan and Pachinko (slots)
There is a poker club in Japan here is a photo: http://jp.pokernews.com/news/local_entry/1131646217.html
The plan in Japan is to have a monthly paymnet to play and to win prizes like cars that you can convert to cash at other sites.

I've made a number of business trips to Japan. I love the country and people and Tokyo is one of the most amazing cities in the world. The only problem is finding a place to gamble that isn't run by the Yakuza and where you feel comfortable that you can leave with your winnings.
Pachinko simply does not interest me, but in alot of the bars you will find a form of gaming happening. You can play Blackjack or Roulette for drinks or even hostesses but the dealer is generally a fairly good mechanic and anyone who gets a read on them, and questions them, is generally escorted from the premises. Playing for drinks is also a recipe for disaster as the more you win, the more drunk you get and then the more you lose.
To know there is a Poker club in Tokyo somewhere is great. Do they allow visitors to play? Do they have regular nightly, weekly or montlhy games? I would be more than interested in playing there on any future visit I make.
Can you also recommend any good place to get a game in Hong Kong or Maccau?

I believe this is the website for this Poker club www.poker.jp
They do allow visitors to play in the club and I will get you all teh details.
In Macau I believe they will open poker rooms very soon, In Hong Kong I never found a game I did work there in the early 90s.
