Part two of a discussion on the events that took place this past weekend at the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
What could have been fair from the organizers then would be a setting a fee 10K per player they allowed in - person who knocks out one of these would get that 10K$ fee. Would that have been acceptable to all players who qualified?
John, I agree with your assessment. Ultimately it is the players fault if this happens. Yes, we do need to organize. I have been talking about forming a professional poker association to address tournament and poker issues. I have incorporated the World Poker Association in Nevada as a nonprofit for this purpose. A web site and organizational activities have been initiated. An announcement will be forth coming soon about membership. It is only through uniting as a group that we will be effective in addressing our needs and rights as poker players.
