Who's going to the Aussie Millions in January?

I'll be playing in the Speed Poker Event, some of the smaller buyin events and (hopefully), the 10K Main Event, if I can win a satellite.

An Australian poker forum (pokernetwork.com) is giving away 25 x $1600 seats to the Speed Poker event as a promotion. If you're coming to Australia in January, have a go at winning one of these seats and I'll see you at the tables.

Speed poker has 6 players max per table, 2 dealers and you get 15 sec to act. It's pretty fast and exciting. Earlier this year, I watched the first Speed Poker tournament and they were averaging over 100 hands per hour with the two dealers.

I'm sure the Millions will be a hugely successful event. Does anyone know of any of the Pros who may be heading down to play in either the Main Event or the Speed Tournament?

Antonio Esfandiari, Blair Rodman, Carlos Mortensen, Chip and Karina Jett, Clonie Gowan, David Levi, David Pham, David Williams, Eric Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Jeff Lisandro, Joe Hachem, Kathy Liebert, Kenna James, Lee Nelson, Maciek Gracz, Marcel Luske, Mike Sexton, Phil Ivey, Scott Fischman, Scotty Nguyen, Tony G.....

and still more to be confirmed.....how can anyone pass up Australia in the summertime? Tongue

I'll be playing in the first event....only because I won a seat. My modest bankroll means I'll be railbirding most of the time
