With all due respect to FullTiltPoker, there is a certain lack of logic to starting fresh with absolutely everything yet retain the FTOPS. The lack of satellites to any real live tournaments is just a kick at the lower (active) half of an online poker playing population. Why are there no satellites to the ISPT or other poker tours out there? Decline in players? Give them something to play for. You have Pros ... at the very least have a promotion for these Pros to give one-on-one poker lessons.

Mercier ... yes he looks like hell visually, but he probably needs the grunge look to play well, as a psychological crutch. In every pro sport there will always be top participants that have zero respect for the visual aspect of the sport to an audience. They look like hell and dress like bums. These are the people that will never get the plum sponsors when the sport finally starts attracting the top tier of sponsorship. These bums will get the beer and the chips advertisers. The great player that cultivated a cleaner cut will get the watches, cars, and alcohol sponsors ... and deservedly so.
