PokerStars has been granted a license from the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, making it one of the first regulated online poker operators in Germany. You have to know that there are huge restrictions to play. As far as I know and heard only players living in this region are allowed to play (3,5% of germans population) , no free choice of players and tables, no moneytransfer between players, etc.
So far away from a regulate market like in other juristications.
