PokerNews Partners with the Mid-States Poker Tour
This week, PokerNews became the official media partner for the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT), the exclusive poker tour of the Midwest. Founded by Bryan Mileski, the tour hosts a series of deep stack Texas hold’em tournaments at separate locations throughout the region. Mileski is also the Minnesota Poker Player Alliance State Director and the President & Publisher of Minnesota Poker Magazine.
Heading into its fourth season, the MSPT has plans for 15 events during 2013. That's an increase over the 10 events that were held last year in a very successful third season. The new season kicks...
First place in the most recent Mspt event which was held in December 2012 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee Mn was $96k. I fell short of the final table busting out in 21st place with a decent cash. I can't wait wait to see what 2013 brings for the expanded tour.
