The great news that the poker community has somehow managed to help Eric Lindgren into a rehab center is signs that the poker industry in the U.S. is growing despite the best efforts of the DOJ. I remember reading the book he wrote with the (excellent) help of Matt Matros (three straight years, three WSOP bracelets Matt ...) who is a professional writer ... he had a lot of great things to say & it helped my poker game. A strong sports industry is one that takes care of its casualties. Football takes care of injured players & it is totally reasonable for the poker industry to forge paths to address gambling addiction ... especially since it is VERY likely such structures will be mandatory in any online legislation passed in the U.S. in 2015 or so.
