7 Card Stud Poker
Seven Card Stud is a variant of stud poker. Prior to the rapid growth and popularity of Texas Holdem, both online and live, 7 Card Stud was the most popular variation of poker. Players are dealt a combination of cards, two face down and one face up. From there, five additional upcards will be dealt, punctuated by a round of betting between each card. This variation of poker does not involve community cards and the fact players can see the majority of other player’s hand makes for interesting betting and play.
