Upon seeing her cards, the always mild-mannered poker pro questioned the legitimacy of the hand.
Adelstein left the game and was refunded his money by Lew, who denied cheating and said she only gave the money back to defuse the situation. The following day, Adelstein made some bold accusations on Twitter, accusing his opponent of "clearly" cheating.
His reputation among those who side with Lew and believe she's innocent has been shattered. But there are also many within the poker community who are convinced she somehow had an unfair advantage in the hand. Neither side has been proven to date.
