Jonathan Karamilikis is an Australian professional poker player mostly traveling his home country and New Zealand's live tournament circuit. His best accomplishment to date is winning the Asia Pacific Poker Tour's Main Event in Sydney, Australia in 2010 for almost half a million Australian dollars.
Karamilikis has numerous cashes in Australia's local poker events such as Aussie Millions, Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour, Asia Pacific Poker Tour and others. He also has a couple of World Series of Poker money finishes to his name as well as a decent European Poker Tour record which he scored at the 2012 EPT Barcelona.
Jonathan’s first experience with poker was in play-money games with his friends in Adelaide, South Australia. He was instantly drawn to the game and played all the way through to the end of his first, and only, year in university. Once Jonathan realized that he could make a living playing poker, he ditched his Accounting and Property studies for life at the felt. Jonathan built his bankroll through Freerolls as he learned his trade.
World Series of Poker
The Aussie has a total of three World Series of Poker cashes on his list of accomplishments, with his best WSOP days yet to come. He finished in 446th place at the 2010 WSOP Main Event and took home $31,647 in cash. He came back to the World Series in 2011 for two more money finishes.
