PokerNews is pleased to announce their first ever live poker championship - the PokerNews Cup - which will be held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia from October 21-29, 2007. The PokerNews Cup Main Event has a AUD$3000 (approx USD$2400) buyin and will take place from October 26-29. This event is expected to attract over 400 entrants from around the globe, and the final table will be webcast on PokerNews. PokerNews are giving away over $350,000 in PokerNews Cup Freerolls! Each freeroll winner will receive a $5000 PokerNews Cup package which consists of entry to the PokerNews Cup Main Event, 6 nights accommodation at the Crown Promenade Hotel, and $1,500 for travel and expenses. These freerolls are exclusively for players that have signed up to our partners through PokerNews, and there are over seventy freerolls scheduled, which is amazing value!
