PokerNews is pleased to announce that the hugely successful PokerNews Cup will be making its way to Austria in 2008. The PokerNews Cup Austria will take place from April 23-27, 2008 and will give Europeans a prime chance to compete in a renowned live poker tournament.

The PokerNews Cup Austria will take place at the luxurious Concord Card Casino in the picturesque city of Salzburg, located in the heart of Austria.

The Main Event has a €650 buy-in, making this tournament incredibly affordable for poker players, regardless of experience and bankroll. The Main Event is expected to attract around 300 entrants from across Europe and is complemented by two other fantastic events.

PokerNews will be giving away over €150,000 in packages to the PokerNews Cup Austria! Each freeroll winner will receive a €1,500 package that includes entry to the PokerNews Cup Austria Main Event and €850 cash for accommodation and travel.
