PokerNews CUP Austria 2008

It was two years ago that Christian Wissmann first started playing poker. “A good friend invited me to learn and play,” explains this €1,500 PokerNews Cup Austria Freeroll winner. Christian has now joined the ranks of Team PokerNews and will be representing the team at the 2008 PokerNews Cup Austria. He felt “overpowered” when he won and celebrated with “a kiss to my son and wife.” Christian is confident he will be doing more celebrating “when I’m winning in Austria!” Currently, he enjoys playing No Limit Texas Holdem live and Limit Texas Holdem online. He works in Social Services and considers "chilling out" and "playing darts" some of his other favourite things to do. The secret to his poker success? “Think smart, move fast.” This will be Christian’s first visit to Austria.
