Team PokerNews FAQ

Q: I already have an account at the online poker room that is hosting a freeroll, can I still play?
A: All Team PokerNews freerolls are exclusive only to players that have signed up a new account through PokerNews links. If you have previously signed up to the poker room in question through PokerNews, you will be able to enter the freeroll once you meet all the requirements listed on the Freerolls page.
Q: What are the requirements to enter the Freeroll?
A: Apart from having signed up to the online poker room that is hosting the freeroll through PokerNews, each freeroll has different requirements. You may have to make a deposit, or play a certain number of raked hands. Many of these requirements are easy to clear, and there are many rooms that are hosting more than one freeroll - giving you a great chance to qualify and win! For the most up-to-date information on freeroll requirements, please see our Freerolls page.
Q: I cannot register for the Team PokerNews freeroll, even though I completed all the requirements. What should I do?
A: Your first step should be to contact the online poker room who is hosting the freeroll you are trying to register for. If you need further assistance, click on the Live Support icon on the bottom of PokerNews. We recommend qualifying well before the deadline to avoid any problems.
Also, remember that Team PokerNews freerolls are only open to players that signed up (downloaded and created a new account) through PokerNews links.
Q: Can I win more that one Team PokerNews package? --OR-- What if I win a package and cannot attend?
A: All Team PokerNews packages are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event that you win a second Team PokerNews freeroll, or win a package and cannot attend, the package will be awarded to the second place finisher.
Q: I don’t want my experience recorded. Do I have to participate in Team activities?
A: All Team PokerNews qualifiers must consent to having their name and likeness being used freely by PokerNews and also the online poker room through which they qualified. If you do not wish to provide consent, you will forfeit your Team PokerNews package.

Team PokerNews members must submit their profile (name, photo, bio) to be displayed on all PokerNews websites. At events where we provide tournament coverage we will also try and track the progress of Team PokerNews qualifiers.

PokerNews reserves the right to change/alter/update any or all of these conditions at any stage, without notification to current or prospective Team PokerNews members. In event of any disagreement, the decisions made by PokerNews management are final.
