PokerStars
by setexasman, 12 October 2007
Pros: very fun
Cons: low tables are donk fest

I began with pokerstars and it has elevated my game for me to set higher standards for myself when at the table. Now I walk into our local club to play and a few leave. Pokerstars has it's lil up's and down but don't all sites. It's a great place... more

Superb site, very satisfied.
by bluff27allin, 03 September 2007
Pros: Smooth interface, great customer service
Cons: ...maybe no cool graphics?

For those who are serious about playing poker, PokerStars is the place to be. From my personal experience of having played on FullTilt, Players Only, Bodog, Ultimate Bet, and PokerStars, I can say objectively that PokerStars, is the best overall. It offers prompt and professional customer service. ... more

Best poker site so far!
by mvbriemen, 14 July 2007
Pros: Easy to clear $25 bonus, nice merchandise on sale for FPP's
Cons: The table filter isn't as good as PartyPoker's

I've played at several pokersites and this one is really great because I like the merchandise. Most sites don;t have it. Watch out with the bonusclearing! The $25 bonus is easy to clear with 100 FPP's. I play $6.60 SNG's. You get 3 FPP's for each game, so 34 games... more

Poker stars...Rates #1 and then some.
by Magimax, 14 July 2007
Pros: Quality Poker, excellent software and honest account balances, web site always up and running.
Cons: Lots of sit outs in free roll tourernements who eventually antie out of the game.

It's a poker bonanza for first time players wishing to learn and play for free. Game tables are pleasant, with nice table themes to choose.
Game tables are self explanatory, a few simple mouse clicks and it's game on. Lots of laughs when seeing the cornucopia of pictures others use... more

Not the best, but close.
by higgi333, 26 August 2006
Pros: Great Look and Easy to use, Quick Support Staff
Cons: Lots of No-Show that will get paid in the small stud games.

Easy to use, quick replys on the support end. Easy deposits and easier bonus collecting. Annimations are easy on the computer and lots of small games that are easy on the pocket book.

Great Stud tables, Im partial to them. Just wish they would... more

Overall my favorite
by coloradomrg, 28 May 2006
Pros: Constant Tournaments
Cons: Few bonuses, lots of newbies in low buy in events

I've tried 5 or 6 other sites and have just not been impressed by either customer care, or quality of play. I've been on PS for about two years now and have enjoyed it. There are a lot of new players or people just messing around at the lower cost... more

Most vindictive site I have played
by TC928, 08 May 2006
Pros: Lots of tournaments and fast tourney registration
Cons: continual drop offs, split system never works same twice

If you play the site often You will be the victim of a totally vindictive site. The best hand pre flop rarely wins. Pocket Aces is a death sentence 9 out of 10 times. The site will continually feed you cards which look good but cant win and will be one... more

Stars is class.
by PurpleHaze, 28 September 2005
Pros: Great software. Clean look. Large pool of players, so you don't always run into the same ones. Excellent and prompt support.
Cons: Tourney schedule is a bit rigid.

I started out on Party, but immediately got fed up with the cartoonish look and feel, and the ridiculous play of the hands, where monsters were dished out like candy. I absolutely believe that Party does not deal actually random shuffles, pumping up big hands to increase action. ... more

Best online Poker room
by dlobo, 21 September 2005
Pros: Great tournements.Best SNG's and competetion.
Cons: hard to do an initial money deposite.

Pokerstars has everything a poker player may be looking forward to playing. It is a great site for the first timer as well as the novice or pro.Unlike any other online poker room Pokerstars is great at allowing each player to display there own personality by downloding a photo or... more

WSOP LaunchPad
by christina3kye, 05 September 2005
Pros: Great Competition Smooth Software Live Action
Cons: Great Competition Hard to fill games beside Hold Em

Well after playing at all the rest I think I finally found the best. Aside from their marketing wisdom of touting Moneymaker and Raymner this site has an abundance of top notch players both that you have heard of and whom play everyday in the shadows of their own trophies.... more
