Same Story on the Feature Table

Barry Woods: 1 vs. Martin Gudvangen: 1

Only microseconds after Kyle McMurphy and Darren Woods squared it up at one game apiece, Gudvangen managed to make it all square in his match.

Gudvangen moved all in with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and found himself ahead of Barry Woods' {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

This time, it was Woods Sr. at risk and he lost when the dealer spread the board of {7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}. We are in for another marathon session here!

McMurphy Loses Second Set

Darren Woods: 1 vs. Kyle McMurphy: 1

It's all tied up in the second semi-final between McMurphy and Woods!

McMurphy put the last of his money into the middle preflop with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, only to be called down by Woods who showed {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The dealer spread the board of {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and as a result, we are all tied up again!

Woods Can't Consolidate

Barry Woods: 1 vs. Martin Gudvangen: 0

Gudvangen found his tournament life on the line again when he moved all in with {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} before the flop, only to be called by Woods who showed {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

Woods hit an open-ended straight draw again on the flop of {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, but Gudvangen stayed alive after the turn of the {5-Diamonds} and the river {8-Diamonds} completed the board.

McMurphy Takes the First

Darren Woods: 0 vs. Kyle McMurphy: 1

Woods moved all in with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} before the flop for his last 2,600 in chips from the button, only to be snap-called by McMurphy and the cards were revealed:

Woods: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
McMurphy: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The dealer spread the board of {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}; McMurphy draws first blood in their semi-final.

Gudvangen Cheats Death

Barry Woods: 1 vs. Martin Gudvangen: 0

The money was all in the middle preflop between Woods and Gudvangen and we got there as the cards were tabled:

Gudvangen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Woods: {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The flop was a very, very scary {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, giving Woods an open-ended straight draw and the chance to eliminate Gudvangen. However the turn and river ran out {3-Spades}, {2-Spades} to see Gudvangen double up to 7,200. The match is still very much alive!

Woods Still Alive!

Kyle McMurphy vs. Darren Woods

On a board that read {5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}, McMurphy moved all in on the river and Woods called, only to muck when McMurphy showed {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for the nut straight.

Woods was left with just 1,100, but has since managed to double up twice in a row. The first double up saw Woods' {q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} hold up against McMurphy's {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, making a better flush on the board of {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

Woods then moved all in preflop with {a-Hearts}{4-Spades} on the very next hand. McMurphy called with {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} but Woods hit two pair when the dealer spread the board of {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

The game is still tied up at 0-0.

Woods Jr. is Doing Good

Kyle McMurphy vs. Darren Woods

It's been relatively quiet over on the other semi-final table but we managed to pick up a pot between McMurphy and Woods.

McMurphy raised to 225 from the button before the flop and Woods called, before check-calling McMurphy's bet of 275 on the flop of {8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

On the turn of the {4-Hearts}, Woods checked, McMurphy fired a bet of 625 and Woods called before both players checked down the river {7-Hearts}.

McMurphy tabled his cards but the dealer whipped them into the muck after Woods revealed {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for middle pair which was good enough to take the pot down.

Their semi-final match is still locked at nil-all.

Woods Takes the Lead

Martin Gudvangen: 0 vs. Barry Woods: 1

Moments after Gudvangen doubled up, he moved his money into the middle on a flop that read {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} with {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, only to be called down by Woods who tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

The turn and river ran out {k-Clubs}, {6-Diamonds}; Woods still had Gudvangen covered and it's 1-0 to Woods.

Gudvangen Doubles Through

Martin Gudvangen vs. Barry Woods

On a board that read {2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Woods led out for 1,300, only to see Gudvangen reraise all in for 3,200.

Woods went into the tank for about two minutes before making the call, tabling {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and was well behind the {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} of Gudvangen.

The {k-Hearts} completed the board to see Gudvangen double up.
