After a long four days of poker, the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event field of 746 has been whittled down to just eight. After today, there will only be one player left standing as the champion.

Entering the day as the chip leading is Canadian Sorel Mizzi. After grabbing a large stack early on in the event, Mizzi has been able to maneuver his way around the obstacles in his way en route to the final table, never slowing down. Mizzi has been playing power poker and staying aggressive every time he's in a hand and no one expects it to slow down for the final table.

Mizzi is no stranger to the felt. He already boasts a live tournament resumé that includes multiple WSOP cashes. Two of those were second-place finishes where he fell just short of winning a bracelet. He holds over $1.6 million in live tournament earnings and is already guaranteed to add another $125,000 AUD to that. Mizzi comes into the final day of play with 6.033 million chips. That's over 40% of the chips in play and more than four million more than his next closest competitor.

Joining him in the final eight is his Betfair counterpart Annette Obrestad. She makes her way to final table table just one year after placing 21st in this very event. Coming into play fifth on the leaderboard, Obrestad's opponent's had better not underestimate her. She is the 2007 WSOP Europe Main Event champion and has already claimed first place in a side event here at the Aussie Millions.

Another Canadian at the final table is Peter Jetten.He holds over $1.2 million in live tournament earnings. He's cashed in nine WSOP events over his young career, including one second place, and also placed fourth in EPT London's High Roller event in 2008.

The television crew is completing their last-minute tasks in preparation for the big show and things are set to begin shortly. When the clock starts, there will 30 minutes left in Level 21.
