"All-in" announced Barbosa, leading to an insta-fold from Behling. Barbosa raked in the sizable pot.

. Barbosa checked, Behling bet 60,000 and Barbosa called. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}

and both players checked. The {6-Spades}

landed on the river and Barbosa check-called Behling's 100,000 bet.

The ring of media, hopeful at the prospect of a big hand, let out a collective sigh as Behling showed {A-Clubs}

and Barbosa {A-Spades}

Behling Drops a Couple More

Nico Behling dropped a few more chips several hands later. He raised to 50,000 preflop and then called 65,000 from Joao Barbosa on the {6-Spades}

flop, but laid it down when Barbosa bet 130,000 on the {7-Spades}

turn.

Down to 550,000.

Behling Was Up; Is Now Back Down

That last all-in push and a few blind steals had put Nico Behling back up to around 750,000, when he and Joao Barbosa saw a {7-Spades}

flop. Barbosa bet a mere 30,000 and Behling called. They saw a {4-Diamonds}

turn as well, and this time Barbosa bet 70,000; again, Behling called.

Come the {9-Clubs}

river, Barbosa thought about it for a moment before betting out a whopping 175,000. Behling looked perplexed. He dwelled up for a long time, eying up Barbosa as though he'd just insulted his mother. Eventually he folded, still looking perplexed. Behling is back down to around 650,000.

We're Still Here

Generally the play has become quite passive -- the sleepy Joao Barbosa looks as though he could wait all day for a hand and is unlikely to be taking any risks right now, while the relatively short-stacked Nico Behling, who occasionally gazes up longingly at the trophies and comedy check, clearly has his heart absolutely set on winning so probably won't be getting reckless for a while yet, if at all.

There are always little exceptions to the limp-checky rule, though, and one of them involved Behling making it 50,000 from the button, only for Barbosa to reraise to 140,000. Behling announced, "All in" and Barbosa folded without a second's thought. "You are bluffing me?" asked an amused Behling. Smiled Barbosa, "I folded a king..."

Bluff Backfires for Behling

Move of the Day for a while seemed to be a limp from the button followed by a raise from the big blind, forcing the button to fold. This happened several times in a row, until the third or fourth time this happened, with Joao Barbosa on the button and Nico Behling raising it up to 68,000, Barbosa called and they saw a flop.

Flop: {K-Diamonds}

Behling checked and Barbosa bet 75,000. Behling raised to 200,000, but passed immediately when Barbosa reraised to put him in.

Behling is down to 500,000 or so.

flop and the {10-Diamonds}

on the turn. The {2-Diamonds}

landed on the river. Barbosa checked, Behling took a 25,000 stab at the pot and Barbosa looked him up.

Behling could only manage eight high and Barbosa's jack high was good enough to earn him the pot.

flop. The {5-Diamonds}

on the turn prompted a 22,000 bet from Behling and a call from Barbosa. The river was the {Q-Clubs}

and they checked it down.

Behling's {A-Spades}

was the winner -- score one for Germany.

You Fold I Show

Joao Barbosa made it 44,000 to go from the button and Nico Behling called. The flop was {7-Hearts}

. Behling checked and Barbosa checked behind. The {10-Hearts}

fell on the turn and Behling led out for 55,000.

"You fold, I show," said Behling with a smirk.

Barbosa, calmly sitting in a "thinker" pose, evaluated the situation for a few moments before putting in a raise to 190,000. It was enough to chase away Behling and Barbosa dragged the pot.
