Fact.

From another member of the media: "Boy, there is nothing happening in this godforsaken tournament right now."

In the last hand, Anton Wigg opened to 200,000 on the button, and Francesco De Vivo called from the big blind. On the flop of {K-Spades} {6-Hearts} {10-Clubs}, De Vivo's leading bet of 275,000 earned him the pot.

See? There's some action for ya. In all seriousness, this sort of play is not unexpected considering the depth and equality of the stacks right now.

Three-Bet Big

Anton Wigg raised to 200,000 from the button. Francesco De Vivo hasn't three-bet much, but he did so here. And in a big way. De Vivo slid out a tall stack of 1 million chips, and Wigg slid his cards into the muck.

Action!

The hand started uninspiringly with Francesco de Vivo limping in on the button and Anton Wigg checking to see a {7-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} flop. Wigg bet out 110,000 on the flop, and de Vivo called.

They both checked the {7-Diamonds} turn and Wigg tried a bet of 225,000 on the {9-Clubs} river, but this time de Vivo raised to one million. Without delay, Wigg folded.

Check This

Really, this could take a very long time.

Francesco de Vivo limped in on the button and Anton Wigg checked his option.

They checked down the {3-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} board and de Vivo flipped {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs} for two pair. Wigg mucked and de Vivo took the pot.

Morten Klein Eliminated in 3rd Place (1,400,000 DKK)

Anton Wigg raised to 205,000 on the button but Morten Klein in the small blind made it 540,000. Wigg announced all in to cover, Klein called in no time at all, and they were on their backs.

Klein: ahead with {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}
Wigg: rather chancing it with but admittedly very live with {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs}

Flop: {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}

Klein remained ahead.

Turn: {K-Spades}

No change there. Only a nine or a ten could spoil the party for Klein.

River: {10-Clubs}

Ouch. As Mr. Klein said in his exit interview, "That was a bad beat." Nevertheless he was an absolute gentleman about it as he hit the rail.

As we go heads up, Francesco de Vivo has a slight lead with 6.4 million. Anton Wigg has 6.1 million. That's about 80 big blinds apiece. Hope you're sitting comfortably - this could take some time...

Viva De Vivo

Morten Klein limped in on the button but Francesco de Vivo must have had an aggression burger for dinner because he raised to 200,000 from the small blind. Anton Wigg quickly gave up his big blind and the action moved back to Klein. Klein thought about it for a while and looked like he might be interested - but eventually he folded too, and de Vivo showed everyone the {A-Hearts} with a don't-mess-with-me sort of expression on his face.
